So far we’ve manufactured all our products in South Africa with world-class apparel and accessory suppliers. We only work with suppliers who treat their workers fairly and in good working environments. As much as possible, we source and use sustainably produced African raw materials in the manufacture of all our products. Currently most of our knits: our tees, sweats and hoodies are made from 100% African cotton grown in Zimbabwe and Malawi and sourced through the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI). This cotton is grown by smallholder farmers, who produce extremely high quality cotton, but face steep challenges, including limited access to water and other inputs that are vital to producing healthy crops. BCI supports these community farmers in improving their yields and profits.
Sustainability is a key pillar of our manufacturing principles. We only use compostable and recycled materials for our packaging and sourcing more sustainably produced African raw materials. We’re dedicated to continuously hone and improve the sustainability of our manufacturing and products.
In doing so, we want to make the term "Made in Africa" synonymous with premium quality.
