To support our Robertsport Surf Club fundraiser, we are producing two original, limited edition eco-surfboards.
These boards are made from organic agave blanks, grown in Kenya by Grow Blanks. Grow Blanks are an African start-up who aim to disrupt the toxic petro-chemical based surfboard manufacturing supply chain, and drag the surfboard manufacturing industry towards sustainability, with an all-African natural solution. An organic surf blank, that is made from lightweight agave stems, sustainably farmed in Kenya, that can be shaped in much the same way as a traditional polyester or styrene surfboard blank. These unique boards are then glassed with entropy, bio-resin. The boards are shaped by South African surfboard shaper, Kei Weyer from Analogy Surfboards and will be available as a channel bottom twin in a 6’4.
